You already know that you have 7 (seven) search engine proven synonyms.

A basic rule of thumb when gathering your 30 keyword is to see if you have more than 4 (four) search engine proven synonyms.
When you have 4 SEPS or less:
When you have 4 or less, you will sort for 3 long tail keyword each. (You can raise this number a the fewer search engine synonyms you have.
So,
4 X 3 long tails = 12
But then you have to add the search engine proven synonym itself into the equation which is 4 more.
4 X 3 long tails + 4 SEPS = 16 long tails.
This is very close to your quota of 15 long tails within your 30 keywords for the article.
Note:
When you exceed your quota of 15, you may choose to NOT include your SEPS within the content of the article, but you will need to monitor them for keyword density within Content Composer. We will show you how to do this in a moment. Your SEPS will get used in their long tail form, within your article.
If you are writing longer articles and you are using more than 30 keywords (some people use 50) then you do not have this concern.
When you have more than 4 SEPS :
A rule of thumb when you have more than 4 SEPS is to sort for 2 long tail keyword each.
So in our case above we have 7 (seven) SEPS.
7 X 2 = 14
Then you need to add the SEPS to the article as well:
7 X 2 = 14 + 7 = 21
This puts you over your 15 quota which is not a problem for the beginner. You could omit 6 of them by getting rid of the SEPS, knowing they will be used in the article in a long tail form. Or you may omit certain keywords based on low cost or traffic.
If you are under time constraints or are a beginner, you could choose to include all of them in Content Composer and place them within the article you are writing as you see fit.
Advanced SEPS Techniques:
The advanced technique that follows will show you the long tail priority hierarchy based on diverse, pure diverse and partially diverse synonyms.
If you are unable to get your head around this right away, don't worry, we will automate this.
If you are a person who likes to pay attention to detail, then you may want to take the process of choosing your long tails to a more refined level in the next step:
